The one-ounce Gold Proof American Eagle pairs Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ Liberty design with the contrasting surfaces of a collector Proof strike. Frosted details stand against reflective fields, distinct from the regular Brilliant Uncirculated Eagle.

This 22-karat coin contains one full troy ounce of fine gold, measures 32.70 mm and carries a $50 face value. The original U.S. Mint presentation box and Certificate of Authenticity are included.
